2025 Idaho Falls Invitational– Women’s Invitational
The 2025 Idaho Falls Invitational is an exciting competition exclusively for women aged 18 and older! This tournament is open to all USASA-affiliated members. If you are not affiliated, please contact the Tournament Committee for further information—we want you to play!

Captains – you will register your team, and then we will contact you with a link to submit your roster.
Divisions
This tournament will feature the following women’s divisions:*
- Women’s Competitive
- Women’s Recreational
A minimum of four teams is required to form a bracket. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to adjust or combine divisions as necessary.
We will provide pennys for teams that are wearing the same color.
Competition Format
- The tournament will follow a round-robin format, leading to a division final.
- Each game consists of two 25-minute halves with a minimum 5-minute halftime.
- FIFA rules apply, with modifications outlined in the tournament regulations.
- Unlimited substitutions will be allowed at the referee’s discretion.
Player Eligibility & Rosters
- All players must be at least 18 years old by the start of the tournament.
- Maximum roster size: 16 players
- Players can only register for one team in the tournament—no dual registrations.
Registration & Check-In

- Captains will submit a roster of their players by May 31, 2025. Changes or additions to rosters will be charged a $10.00 day of fee.
- Players must check in at least 30 minutes before their first game and present a valid photo ID with full name and birth date.
Standings & Tiebreakers
Teams will be ranked using a 10-point scoring system:
- 6 points for a win
- 3 points for a tie
- 1 point for a shutout
- 1 point per goal (max 3 per game)
- 0 points for a loss
- A forfeit is recorded as a 1-0 win for the opposing team.
Tiebreakers (if necessary) will be determined in the following order:
- Head-to-head result
- Goals against
- Goals for
- Coin toss or penalty kicks (for finals)
Game Rules & Discipline
- All matches will follow FIFA Laws of the Game, with tournament-specific modifications.
- Players must wear shin guards and follow standard equipment rules.
- If uniform colors conflict, the visiting team must change.
- A red card results in a suspension for the next match, with possible further disciplinary action.
Game Start Times & Rescheduling
- Games must start on time. A 10-minute grace period will be allowed before a forfeit is declared.
- Weather or travel delays will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Tournament Committee.
