  • ActorPlace – Free Headshot & Resume website, Free E-mailing of the Headshot & Resume to the Casting Calls in their system and to anyone you want.
  • Big Talent – Free website lets you create multiple profiles (Actor, Model ETC) and post resume and 6 photos per profile. Good site to set up
  • Brain Box Talent – Has free and paid websites for your headshot and resume. Has job postings. This is a new site with good potential but the jobs currenty posted here are availible for free everywhere. Set up the free portfolio and wait for the site to evolove.
  • Explore Talent – Free modeling website with resume.
  • My 8 x 10 – Great free site for NY & LA markets.
  • Now Casting- LA based jobs and website company free for SAG actors $2.50 per month for non-union actors if you are union and want to work LA this is a MUST JOIN SITE. Notifies you by e-mail when your profile matches something in a breakdown. Set up for you to e-mail headshot and resume to the casting directors.
  • Showfax Actors Access – Free site post 2 headshots. This is a must join site For SAG/AFTRA members they post breakdowns for all TV shows & movies in LA, NYC & Vancover. They send you an e-mail EVERY TIME YOU FIT A ROLE & has an E-mail portfolio forwarding set-up for $2 per submission.
  • Talent Bank – Free actor website post your headshot and resume for free.
  • Talent Match -
  • Talent Pages – Free for SAG actors but non-union must pay $15 per year or $25 lifetime.
  • Zoetrope Virtual Studio ( Coppola family ) – Free for actors, writers, directors & crew. This is the Coppola Family Virtual Studio. Actors must have 2, 15 second sound bites ( 1 Shakespeare 1 Modern ) or you can not join.

    Hello
    I am an actress recently moved back to Tucson. Now Casting is great for getting connected to Players Directory. They aren’t that great for SAG.There are a lot of non-union posts with them and extra work in LA.
    Double edge sword there: You can become an “extra” and be known for that. Also possible to get your SAG card;so choice.
    LA CASTING IS the site along with breakdown services.
    LA Has tons of Non-union work right now as so many things going to other states.
    I am thinking of starting an on-camera class. I have learned a lot at Margie Haber Studios for prep on film and commercials.I also think and believe and actor MUST keep acting even if it is a class.ON Camera hones your skills and you “see” what you are doing.
    I will look for responses to see if any takers or someone is wanting to do this.
