Hello
I am an actress recently moved back to Tucson. Now Casting is great for getting connected to Players Directory. They aren’t that great for SAG.There are a lot of non-union posts with them and extra work in LA.
Double edge sword there: You can become an “extra” and be known for that. Also possible to get your SAG card;so choice.
LA CASTING IS the site along with breakdown services.
LA Has tons of Non-union work right now as so many things going to other states.
I am thinking of starting an on-camera class. I have learned a lot at Margie Haber Studios for prep on film and commercials.I also think and believe and actor MUST keep acting even if it is a class.ON Camera hones your skills and you “see” what you are doing.
I will look for responses to see if any takers or someone is wanting to do this.

Hi Actors! I’ve been acting on film projects around AZ for about 3 yrs since quitting my job in law to get a real life – I’d rather be happy and broke). I’ve also been working as a PA, logistics, gopher, transportation, setting up and recently was responsible for scene continuity which was great fun! I love the work: learning what goes on behind the cameras really helps my movement and skills as an actor, and it’s shed new light on the whole teamwork concept!
