Tonight is the night! The Arizona Production Association, along with IFASA, is holding its fifth annual Spotlight on Tucson Film Community Mixer, 6-8 PM, Monday, May 4th, at Gentle Ben’s (upstairs patio), 865 E. University Blvd.
This is the biggest filmmaker mixer in Tucson every year. Be there! Bring your headshots, resumes, business cards, and flyers. Meet fellow filmmakers, make beneficial connections, and have fun! Anyone who works in film, television or theater is invited to come and meet others in their respective fields.
Other local film organizations have been invited to have information tables, including the Tucson Film Office, The Arizona International Film Festival, the Loft Cinema, the National Association of Latino Independent Producers, and The Art Institute of Tucson.

Director’s Seat Productions, LLC will be hosting a writers competition where 3 to 5 page screenplays will be submitted, voted on, and finally shot as short films during 2009.
