June meeting has all the colors of the rainbow
The June IFASA will feature a discussion of color correction, led by Al Graham. The meeting is on Monday, 7 June, at 6:00 PM at the Main Library, Catalina Meeting Room (2nd floor and go left), 101 N. Stone. Parking in the underground garage is free after 5:00 PM.
(Mis-)Adventures in Color Correction will cover color grading issues that come up in multi-camera use. Al has recent experience in editing a shoot that used two different cameras and had tremendous problems in getting selections from each camera to match colors for the final video. He will give examples of what not to do and how to fix what was unfortunately done anyway! He will show video examples and other useful things that would be of interest to other novice video editors. The entertaining part would be of interest to even experienced editors. Everyone is invited to participate in the discussion and share their experiences.
It will be an interesting and informative meeting. Everyone is welcome.?
