Director’s Seat Productions, LLC will be hosting a writers competition where 3 to 5 page screenplays will be submitted, voted on, and finally shot as short films during 2009. The March IFASA meeting will be held on Monday, March 2, at 6:00 PM at Access Tucson, 124 E. Broadway. Our speaker will be Will Conroy, screenwriter of Transsiberian, starring Emily Mortimer, Woody Harrelson, and Ben Kingsley. It will be a very interesting and informative meeting. Everyone is welcome.

The February IFASA meeting is Monday, February 2, at 6:00 PM at Access Tucson, 124 E. Broadway. Our speaker will be Justin Kreinbrink, who will speak about budgeting a feature film. In addition to directing The Decoy and Assistant Directing Trade In, he was hired to budget nine feature films, with budgets up to $50 million. It will be a very informative meeting. Everyone is welcome.
