Filmmaker Debra Granik will hold a directing workshop on June 2 and 3rd at the UA in Harvill 104 from 9:30am-12:30pm. Ms. Granik will work with Media Arts students to workshop scenes from her new screenplay. Actors are needed to perform in the scene studies. Actors must be available 10:30am-12:30pm on either June 2 or 3, or both days.

Because of the Filmmaker Mixer the next day, there will be no IFASA General Meeting on Monday, 5 May. Our next General Meeting will be on Monday, 2 June. See everyone at the mixer!
Filmmaker Mixer - Tuesday, 6 May, 6:00-8:00 PM, Gentle Ben’s
Once again IFASA joins the Arizona Production Association for their annual Spotlight on Tucson Film Community Mixer. As usual, it will be held at Gentle Ben’s, Tuesday, 6 May, 6:00-8:00 PM. This is always the biggest film mixer of the year. Be sure to attend, meet fellow filmmakers, make beneficial connections, and have fun! Other local film-related organizations will also be represented, including the Tucson Film Office, NALIP, the Arizona International Film Festival, and the Loft Cinema. Note, this mixer replaces the IFASA meeting in May, so there is no meeting on Monday, 5 May.
Gentle Ben’s is located at 865 E. University Blvd. The mixer will be held in the upstairs patio area. We hope to see you there!
